Psycho Technical Evaluation Test is a computer supported test that measures the attention level, speed-distance prediction abilities, visual angles, and visual perception capacities of a participant. A comprehensive report which was prepared after 7 different tests that are applied is delivered to the firms.
DETERMINATION TEST In this test, the candidate’s right reactions to visual stimulants in different colors and audio stimulants in different tones and the speed of these reactions are measured. How fast and how correct the can candidate react in a sudden and panic situation is measured. It is the measurement of how fast and correct the drivers realize and react to sudden changes.
SIGNAL FOLLOW TEST In this test, the selective attention of the candidate is measured by asking him to decomposing certain stimulants among complicated stimulants. When it is be thought that in a long time monotonous atmosphere the driver’s selective attention level can decrease and when it is thought that attention and concentration loss is one of the main reasons of the accidents determining the attention level of the drivers has great importance for safe driving.
STANDART JUDGMENT TEST In this test which is based on the comprehension and noticing the relations between abstract visual shapes, the ability of understanding, evaluation the relations between the events is measured. It is certain that perceiving the events and their possible results has first degree importance to stay away from risky situations during driving. It has been found that the people who have low judgment ability cannot perceive the events in the surrounding and get into risky situations and involve in or cause to accidents as they don’t get the necessary precautions.
SPEED – DISTANCE PREDICTION TEST In this test, the candidate’s ability to predict the movement speed of the stimulants and the distance between the stimulants is measured. It is important as it composes one f the most important factors that set the driving skill. Speed distance prediction test results also give important information about driver’s deliberate or risky driving tendency.
VISUAL ANGLE TEST In an angle of 120 to 140 degrees, it is measured when the stimulants which are given from the right and left extreme of the head, which means from this angle, get into the visual angle of the candidate. This test is based on the candidate to notice and react to the stimulants from left and right while he is concentrated to a mission in front of him while driving.
BINARY OPERATION ABILITY TEST During the Binary Operation Ability Test important information is gained about the driver’s ability to achieve the hand-foot-eye coordination.
CONTINUITY IN VISUAL PERCEPTION TEST It is measured how much the participant can decompose the critical info that he has to follow in complex surroundings and how strong his visual perception is.
