At the “b” paragraph of 8. Article of Work Health and Safety Regulation issued on the official gazette on 09.12.2003 and no 25311 by the Ministry of Labor and Social Security; it is stated that the employer considering the size and the special dangers of the business place for first aid, fire fighting and evacuation works, has to assign enough number of people trained on this subject and with enough equipment.
In this context the first aid trainings which are given to train FIRSTAIDERS who can help the ill or injured person without any medicine until the professional help comes, without using medical devices with the present facilities in case of any sudden disease, accident, injury, disaster, poisoning, drowning continue for 2 days / 16 hours(9 hours theoretical, 7 hours practice).
The ones who become successful at the exam after the training will get “Firstaider” certificate approved by the Ministry of Health.

The Fire Fighting and Rescue Teams charged in Civilian Defense Organization and other personnel that will fight with the fire to learn the structure, progress of the fire, and the factors that cause the fire; the special fire risks for their facilities and sectors; to make the personnel aware of the precautions to be taken to prevent fire; to teach the fighting, extinguishing and evacuation methods at fire continue for 5 days / 40 hours (32 hours theoretical, 8 hours practical).
