“Advanced Driving Techniques Training” is done with the vehicles that will be allocated by you, at least 4 vehicles for 12 people, at most 8 vehicles for 24 people and there will be 1 instructor and 3 participants in every vehicle.
The training is continued during 2 days and applied in 4 parts.
1st DAY 1st Part – Economic Driving and Environmental Health (Theoretical 3 Hours) 2nd Part – The Concentration and Perceiving in Traffic (Practical 3 Hours)
2nd DAY 1st Part – The Defensive Driving Techniques (Theoretical 3 Hours) 2nd Part – Driving Safety and Vehicle Dynamics (Practical 3 Hours)
There are 3 basic aims of the training program;
To provide to be perceived of the risks beforehand and to be taken necessary precautions,
To teach the air, road and traffic conditions’ effects on driving and the defense against possible accidents,
To show the subjects of unnecessary fuel usage that results from the drivers.

1st Day – 1st Part Economic Driving and Environmental Health (Theoretical)
TRAINING CONTENTS
Starting the Vehicle
First Move and Acceleration
Gear According to Speed
Slowing Down and Stopping
Stopping and Parking
Heavy Traffic – Alternative Route
Public Transportation Vehicles
Avoiding from Panic Brake
Sudden Accelerating and Stopping
Tire Choice
Vehicle Aerodynamics and Weight
Vehicle’s Manufacturing Technology
Technical Maintenance and Failures
Regular Emission Measurements

1st Day – 2nd Part The Concentration and Perceiving in Traffic (Practical)
The practical training of “The Concentration and Perception in the Traffic” is done in the traffic and every participant uses the vehicle for 1 hour.
There are 1 instructor and 3 participants in every vehicle and our instructor describes the possible dangers on the road by telling.
TRAINING CONTENTS
Technical Equipment Control The importance of daily technical controls like measurement of tire and air pressures, headlight, signal, horn, wipers are complete and fully working; glass water, cooling liquid and engine oil must be full, are explained. Headlight Using and Night Vision Subjects like the importance of being noticed in the day light like seeing at night and techniques of making the control of counter light, usage of fog lamps, subjects to be noticed at night vision are explained. Air, Road and Traffic Conditions Control of the weather before driving, determining the route to be followed, foreseeing the road conditions and problems on this route, finding alternative ways for traffic jams are explained. Noticing the Risks and Defense Perceiving the possible unbalanced movements of pedestrians, other vehicles like bicycles and motorcycles, perceiving the movements on the road sides and obstacles that can suddenly appear on the road and the defense are explained. Following Distance, Brake Distance, Perceiving and Adjustment The techniques of adjusting the distance according to the vehicles driving in front and behind of us, adjusting the braking time are shown with demonstrations. Objects in the Car The volumes, weights and risks of injuring the passengers and drivers in case of a crash or sudden brake according to the speed of the car of the unfixed of objects in the car are shown with demonstrations. Perceiving and Concentration in Traffic The importance of concentration in the daily traffic flow which is active from every direction, the permanence and application of this, the importance of the physical condition about improving the reflexes are shown with demonstrations.

2nd Day – 1st Part The Defensive Driving Techniques (Theoretical)
What is defensive driving?
Protection from crash
The precautions that will be taken to analyzing and feeling the crash moment
Perceiving the danger and defense
Right action on time
Accident scenarios
Three stages of crash
Physical and psychological conditions
Factors distracting the attention
Concentration
Factors out of control (other drivers, pedestrians etc.)
Sudden reactions
Weather, road and light conditions
Traffic conditions
Sliding control
Using of rearview mirrors
2 rule factor in driving (Right analysis, slowed drive)
Stopping distances and scenarios
Steering wheel control
The risks in dangerous driving

2nd Day – 2nd Part Driving Safety and Vehicle Dynamics (Practical)
In the trainings with skidpad which creates different road holding conditions; the practice of braking, escaping from obstacle and the safety equipments like ABS, ESP are done.
For the training which will be done except Istanbul, the saloon and 30x100 meters asphalt grounded area will be allocated by you.
This part is done at the area that is closed for common traffic and every participant uses the vehicle for 1 hour.
TRAINING CONTENTS
FIRST START AND ACCELERATION AT SLIPPERY SURFACE The correct first depart principles at slippery grounds, BRAKING AT DRY AND SLIPPERY SURFACE The stopping distance changes at different speed and ground conditions, ESCAPE FROM OBSTACLE AND BRAKING The weight transfer, the technique of escaping from the obstacle with steering wheel move and stopping with right braking, FOLLOWING DISTANCE AND PANIC BRAKE The way of determining following distance and sudden brake practices, UNDERSTEERING AND OVERSTEERING AT CURVES The negative effects of weight transfer related to speed and the importance of speed at swinging, BRAKING AT SLIPPERY SURFACE (CURVES) It is shown with applications that the sudden brake which will be apply when entering a curve with high speed will change the vehicle’s weight transfer and sliding will start.
